Tianhui Ye is a visual artist currently based in Milwaukee and Chicago. Her work explores the subconscious impact of objects on individuals. She seeks to express the connection between self-awareness and the perceptions of others through a hazy and ambiguous visual language. She views natural scenery as an echo—one that evokes a cyclical process of questioning, acceptance, and healing in the viewer.
